Time got away this month so the meeting information for April didn’t quite make this Blog for which I apologize. However, you should mark your calendars for:
May 10 (Marketing – focus TBA), June 14 (6 month route check) , July 12 (Relaxation and Stress Reduction for Business Owners with Renate Donnovan)
…and the second Thursday in September through to December. with Topics of Elevator Speech (Jeremy Tracey), Customer Retention, Planning for 2013, and a Regular Networking Meeting (bring a friend), not in that order!
We will have members whose particular specialty it is lead the discussion in special topics.
We are very lucky to have these members in the group as they are a valuable resource for everyone and I for one am flattered that they offered to share their expertise with the group. You will want to make sure you attend and gain valuable insight so you can make your business run much more profitably.
Right now I am working with some of the members on getting information about Social Media as a Marketing Tool for you.
As they say – Watch this Space!

I have networked for years and wish someone had shown me how – it would have saved many gaffs, and made me more successful earlier. I formulated my own course for people in my network group but this course is thorough. The environment is warm and supportive. I am really looking forward to helping many people when I co-teach this with Lynda Robertson.

It’s Trade Show Season!
- When does your participation in a Trade Show actually begin?
- Banners or signs?
- Booth or Table Top?
- What do you do when you are there?
- Business cards or literature?
- Now what?
Sandy Escott and I are collaborating to create a toolkit for you with some interesting information and the Table Talk will be discussions about Trade Shows.
Some of the tools apply to sales calls and the discussions apply to business in general so even if you don’t think you are going to participate in a trade show, you will find the information useful. You will certainly look at participants in a new light, and pick up some tips in assessing what you see.
